How in the world did Miss Hamblin manage to keep this secret??   I am glad 
there weren't any paparazzi photographers around at Chartwell, when the 
painting was taken out in the dead of night.   What a courageous thing for 
her to do.

The Sutherland portrait was really horrific.   WSC had a great comeback 
line about it.   But I can certainly see why Clementine *hated *the thing.
