Chris Bell (whose fine new book *Churchill and the Dardanelles* is just coming out) is exactly right. Lengthy passages from the "unpublished article," if not most of it, are from "Are There Men on the Moon?," *Sunday Dispatch*, 8 March 1942, Cohen C662--republished in Michael Wolff, ed., *The Collected Essays of Sir Winston Churchill,* vol. 4, *Churchill at Large* (London: Library of Imperial History, 1975), 493-98.
Ron Cohen notes it was part of 19 articles Churchill sold to the *Dispatch* for successive weeks in March-July 1942. At least six were not reprinted in the *Collected Essays,* Ron says, so there are a few more "unknown" articles out there to be rediscovered. We have now published the original essay, which can be read on our website: https://winstonchurchill.hillsdale.edu/men-moon-churchill-alien-life-1942/ Richard M Langworth Senior Fellow, Hillsdale College Churchill Project winstonchurchill.hillsdale.edu/ Moultonborough, New Hampshire Eleuthera, Bahamas -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ChurchillChat" group.
