Dudes:  They thought they were being patriotic.  Just a (bad) case if misplaced loyalties.  You know what all this latest NSA flap reminds me of? The Miranda ruling.  The Police squealed to the highest reaches of heaven when it first came out, but they all new in their hearts and souls that the law would make them better policemen.  Same thing with NSA. No matter how lofty its goal, it has to do things by the Constitution--the greatest living political document in the histopry of civilization, by the way. They can't just spam monitor us.  They have to find al Qaeda or Russian or Chinese or Israeli or N. Korean collaboration first--meaning they should be all-out monitoring oustside the United States.  Then when those observations lead them into the U.S. they can spy on their own.  It's a pretty simple idea, really.  Call it what it should be called: Selective domestic spying for the good of the
