General Hipólito Herrera, the commander of Police Region Number Five, deployed in Norte de Santander department, on the border with Venezuela, ratified that last Wednesday there was an incursion into Guaramito. The officer expressed that the presumed attack of the Venezuelan military on local residents is being investigated.
