I'm extremely new to any *nix OSes and even more new to OpenSolaris, so apologies if this is the wrong forum and if I come off... stupid :)
Basically I'm wondering if oSolaris can dynamically handle a DC going down, and allowing new clients to authenticate against a new DC. In my environment (Home) I have 3 DCs in the same site, oSolaris will pick one, which I understand is verified through "smbadm list", and if that DC goes down (is not any sort of Role Master) it will not attempt an Auth against another DC. If I restart the smb/server it does appear to pick up another DC and my clients (Windows boxes) can reconnect.
