I assume that test01 (the OpenSolaris system) is on the same
subnet as 192.168.0.199, which is a different subnet from the
DC and the secondary WINS server.  How is your network topology
organized (subnets, subnet masks etc)?

It would be useful to see the output from cifs-gendiag and
the NetBIOS cache on the DC (nbtstat).

I'd recommend Microsoft's web site for more information on Windows domains, 
member servers and how systems join domains.

Is 192.168.5.100 your domain controller?
