Dear all. We are successfully running Samba on top of OpenSolaris for quite a while. Due to ACL issues we are going to move to CIFS in combination with Active Directory. As the Samba installation used it's own user management, no AD or Domain involved, we are facing problems with transitioning users into the AD. Actually the only problem left is to get their passwords or hashes from Samba smbpasswd into the AD server. Any hints on how to achieve that?
