    .Hi

Cin-GG 5.1 has been out quit a while. Currently Cin-GG happends to
    have
the same version 5.1 as her current FFmpeg version base?

Just my thought without much thinking what it implies beyond
    documentation updates:
Because FFmpeg is a major part of Cin-GG, would it be beneficial
    beyond
informative to let Cin-GG version follow her FFmeg base version; like
    version 6.1 next?

Well, I usually  take major version number change as big jump in capabilities, or interface (user or programmer's).

may be just stick with 5.1 until something more revolutionary happens?

"A big jump in capabilities, or interface" - quite understandable, yes :)
