Unfortunately I have several problems with my system (I'm trying
CachyOS, an optimized fork of Arch) and my tests are inconclusive.
More or less the decoding and encoding of h264 works, so I think the
patch doesn't give problems. I have several CinGG freezes, though, and
always have this message (even before the patch, though):

void AWindowGUI::update_asset_list():
Warning: /home/paz/video_editing/free_video/bbb_sunflower_1080p_30fps_normal.mp4
 dimensions 1920x1080 exceed OpenGL texture limit 0

This happens both by setting X11 and X11-OpenGL. The error does not
prevent normal editing.

Other problems are with pipewire; sometimes the audio works by setting
it to “pulseaudio” and sometimes it doesn't, with the following
message:

AudioPulse::open_output 110: failed server=(null) Invalid argument

With Alsa it always works for me without errors.

Other message in the terminal that sometimes appears and sometimes
does not, is the following:

BC_DisplayInfo::gl_fb_config failed

However, I think all these problems are not with CinGG, but with my
installation. Sorry I can't be helpful; I will put Arch back up
shortly.
