On my system, the latest svn x264 is libx264.so.46, I encountered the same problem last week when it upgraded from 45. I use svn cinelerra so it was a simple matter of rebuilding (maybe after a make clean, I don't recall). If you've got a pre-built package then perhaps it needs to be updated, or maybe you can get away with linking libx264.so.45 -> libx264.so.46 in the meanwhile?
