this is speculation. but if you think that editing caused the loss of
sync, what probably happened is that you lost it, not cinelerra...

do you have cursor on frames turned on and are you sure you are editing
all tracks at the same time?

Cinelerra is tricky to use, you've got to know what you are doing. I
suggest anyone that wants to learn it to FIRST at least skip through
whole big manual, and then start to use it. Or go to a workshop or class
about cinelerra.
