There are new Ubuntu packages online (for Dapper and also Breezy). The instructions are now significatly different as listed on 'getting cinelerra' cvs web page. I would like to ask again to remove those instructions and instead just point to: http://www.kiberpipa.org/~gandalf/ubuntu/README
I also built my flavour of Debian Sid packages.
