Guys,
I experienced this as well, but rendering using a combination of a chromakey
track and video track will hang or crash cinelerra.
Test Cases
1) If I render the my video without enabling playback for the chroma key effect
track that I have created in the project, but do enable playback for the HDV
mpeg2 video track, the video renders fine.
2) If I render output enabling playback for both the chroma key effect on one
track and the video on another, Cinelerra will either crash or hang with the
following output and GDB trace below.
3) Finally, if I render only the chroma key tracks without the base video track,
the job renders fine.
I've attached the gdb trace of the offending thread.

Here is my system:
- FC4/Dell 400SC/2GB mem/plenty of hard drive space
- CVS2.1, SVN 942
- from cinelerra, I render using ffmpeg -target DVD (I used this all weekend
with success)
- from cinelerra, I also used QT for Linux, MPEG4 compression scheme. This
crashes too.
- HDV video 720P
