I'm trying to track down a problem with DV video in Quicktime/Linux
packages that shows up in recent builds for me (svn r958-960). I have
an early build from r888 (9/14/06) that will handle the files in
question, so I know something changed, but I'd like some advice on what
might be causing this.

I have several local files captured from a DV camera in to QT/Linux
packages here. The files in question all load in to the resources
window, and I can drag them to the viewer for editing in r888.

However, in r958, I can load them as resources, and they show a single
frame in the resource window, but I can not drag and drop them to the
viewer or timeline. I can not load them to the timeline directly
either. These are large files, or I would post a sample clip (300M).

I have some similar files that can still be loaded, so I rendered a 5
sec clip to QT/Linux/DV. However, the shorter file loads and can be
dropped on the viewer fine.

Anybody know which recent changes might cause this behavior? Is
cinelerra less tolerant of some types of captured DV because of recent
changes? (These are video & audio clips.)

Thanks,
