ok sorry for not writing back sooner.. i had to go work.. ok so here are the evolucion to the problem.. the videos i captured with dvgrab closes cinelerra. .avi that i captured or exported with kino imports "blank" or empty. ie the file gets imported and appears in the list of rources but later doesnt contain niether video nor audio. i export a .dv from kino and this does work fine. but on the play back there is a delay in the video
