hey,
I did see you post here about running cinelerra on OSX :
https://init.linpro.no/pipermail/skolelinux.no/cinelerra/2006-August/007364.html
What is the current status of this,
when I checkout a SVN version and install all required modules
would I be able to compile and run cinelerra?
It should be possible - you should be warned that the last patch is
almost half a year old and maybe needs some tweeks before it works with
svn head.
In my search for a NLW, I just came across cinelerra,
but when I try to run in parallels (ubuntu 7 and cinelerra compiled by
myself).
Running Cinelerra on Linux will definitely be a more rewarding
experience; I had to remove some linux-specific features from the OSX
version like firewire support and renderfarming.
I would suggest you to set up a dual-boot system.
