I'm trying to edit some small sections out of my current project, and the audio isn't lining up right. I get my in and out points set in the timeline, preview (Ctrl-Space) confirms that it's exactly what I want to cut out, and then when I perform the cut, it takes a section of the same length several seconds later than what I was going for. It's also clear that the waveform doesn't line up with the audio, just by looking at it.
I've juggled the audio preferences trying to get it working, but no luck. I've managed to make a few of the necessary revisions by trial and error, but it's extremely frustrating (and time consuming!). Has anyone else run into this?
