I have a movie of me doing some work. time of the whole job is not important,
only what steps I took, and for some of the footage how fast the equipment
moves. I cut out the completely useless parts, like me searching for parts, or
trying to get nut/bolt threads to line up. but some footage I want left in,
just sped up. other parts I want in real time.
I have just read http://heroinewarrior.com/cinelerra/cinelerra.html#REFRAMERT
about 3 times, rendered a 1 min over 10 times, and still can't figure out how to
speed up what it effects... or something.
I have all the footage on the timeline. I want from 0:0 - 2:15 (135 seconds)
to play in about 30 seconds, or 5x as fast. then from 2:15 to 13:27, normal
speed, 13:27-14:60, 5x, 4:16-end normal.
I put the ReframeRT effect on the 2 segments I want sped up, Set Scale=5.0,
[x]Stretch, rendered. from what I can tell, everything got sped up by 5x.
my guess I need to do something like make the ReframeRT effect only as long as
the resulting time will be: so for my first 135s clip I make it 27s long (135/5)
but I just tried that, and something isn't right there either. next guess is
I need to create a gap in the timeline, but that is giving me a headache trying
to guess what I should do.
So, what should I do?
