I just uploaded a sample directory with a H.264 AVI clip (1 min 41 sec)
and a couple of properites files using avidmux and idvid, output as follows:

-----------------
te...@linux-78n9:~> rsync -r -P

Please oversee the lack of crisp video quality on this first sample
clip. Afterwards I discovered the blanc transport tape over the lens on
this new camcorder :)

I can playback this 1280x720 H.264 AVI clip with Xine on openSUSE 11.1
in fullscreen mode on a 1920x1200 display. Gnome Mplayer also worked in
normal mode, but didn't playback fullscreen video (dual window, one
statical)

Could also open the clip in Avidemux and look at the properites as seen
on this screen shot (jpg)

The properties was also verified with 'idvid' showing the following output:

Cinelerra File>Load files.. was not able to determine the format of this
H.264 AVI clip, at least not with the default settings.

Q1) Is it neccessary to convert or 'transcode' the clip with other tools
first or use especial settings in Cinelerra before loading and editing ??

Q2) And for DVD?
