Hi list,

I'm not a developer and don't know enough technical details yet about
Cinelerra and the next Luminera. But my plan is to start using them for
video editing/composing on Linux.

Therefore I'll add a copy below of my email correspondence with Blackmagic
Design and the reply I got back from their technical support where they
say:

-------------
"Now is certainly the perfect time to let us know what features might be
required such as capture formats, and I can relay this to our development
team."
-------------

That is, what features and capture/playback file formats will be required
and suited for use with Cinelerra and Luminera?

Let us set up and discuss such a wishlist here.

I will also post a link to to Blackmagic Design so that they can follow
and read this thread on the list arhieve.

Rgds,
Terje
