Hello Hannes,

I think I found the cause: I had previously attempted to compile Heroine
Virtual's version of Cinelerra, and somehow the configure scripts got
mixed up. Now I'm pretty certain that I correctly pulled in the CinCV
version and started anew in the cinelerra-cv directory, but somehow I
managed to mess up anyway. I guess it's a gift :-/

After installing some more dependencies, I succeeded in compiling
Cinelerra, complete with all bells and whistles (except MMX support, but
IIRC, that's normal with an AMD64 CPU).

My apologies for making you spend time on my mistake, and thank you for
looking into it. At least the riddle is solved.

Best regards,

Richard Rasker
