But, Cinelerra hw as a commercial product... come on... THEY are a failure, not us. I and a lot of friends managed to make a lot of movies with cinelerra-cv for the past 10 years, and thanks also to cin-cv unique features, like yuv4mpeg output, improved formats support, powerpc support, lots of deadlocks bugfixes, nice themes... For me cinelerra empowers activists with a free software tool to make movies. Cinelerra-cv lives on, and It's still the best option for FLOSS NLE in Linux (as long as lightworks doesn't open up the source, if it's really true this will ever happen).
