Ip accounting is not supported on platforms that do forwarding in hardware and you cannot install a netflow card on a 4948 either since this is a fixed config box , so to answer your question , ip accounting wont work on a 4948 switch.

More specifically, this is about a Catalyst 4948 doing L2/L3 and switching a total of 100 Mbits in and out (CPU is around 15%). I believe it should be OK, but before turning it on I'd feel more confortable with somebody confirming that. Thanks in advance Vincent _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list cisco-nsp@puck.nether.net https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/ _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list cisco-nsp@puck.nether.net https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/
