There is a very unsupported way to learn... you can be the judge of the legal 
implications of it etc etc....

However you can get your hands on a j-series series off of ebay pretty easily. 
It will get you a long way, and will run the latest releases... and iirc 
ScreenOS if you really feel like some punishment.

I'm fairly well versed in the Cisco devices and the configuration of those 
devices through the CLI using Cisco IOS...but I'm curious, and up for the 
learning experience, of starting to familiarize myself with Juniper.

I prefer hands on...so I was thinking maybe some practice gear off ebay...and 
if so, what model would be right for my goal.
