Hello,

May be not a topic for this mailing list, but hopefully someone can help me
out with this.

I've a problem with 2 of my aironets on a remote side. To connect a couple of
remote sites to a central site we use a few 1310 aironet bridges. All the
1310 BVI interfaces are all in a separate subnet for management.

It all worked fine until I recently added 2 extra bridges to the network.
The old units still work fine but for some strange reason I can't connect to
the management interfaces of the new bridges. The only way is RDP to a remote
PC that is connected to the console port.

It looks like the only difference is the IOS version. The new ones work on
12.4(10)&(3g) the older ones on 12.3(8) But again to downgrade this on a
remote site that is about 3500 Km away from me with no experienced people,
not really practical. Does someone have any idea how to overcome this
problem.

It really looks like an IOS problem here. I've tried several things in the
config of the aironet but nothing seems to work.

Thank a lot for any help.

Regards,

Mike
