That command is deprecated. New syntax is:
"clear configure <acl_name>"
you can continue to use the old syntax to remove a particular ACE from
an ACL, use the above to blow away the ACL completely.

applied a new access-list today and wanted to remove an old one. To my
amazement "no access-list blah" is no longer a valid command. I have tried
to ask the oracle of Google and Cisco, but I can't find an answer. Could
