I can verify that 3550, 3560, 3750, 3750E, 4500 SupIV, 6500 Sup2/Sup720 all propagate to the members when the associated port-channel is changed. Interface specific characteristics (e.g., channel-group x mode) are not and can't be used in the port-channel configuration context.
