The compiled ACLs were already dropped/phased out, and now by default IOS uses even better algorithm to process them. For some time the parser still permitted to execute 'access-list compiled' but it/does nothing on newer IOSes as the better way is used. The Turbo/compiled ACL patent doc: http://mcrae.homeunix.net/patents/US06970462.pdf -- "Everything will be okay in the end. | Łukasz Bromirski If it's not okay, it's not the end." | http://lukasz.bromirski.net _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list cisco-nsp@puck.nether.net https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/
