Hi, All! Sorry, but I need some quick advise.
I have multicast vpn configured on several 7600 routers with rsp720-3cxl-ge. One router receives multicast traffic for about 90 iptv channels via gi3/10. This interface configured as member of multicast vrf. This is entry point for iptv from streammers. interface GigabitEthernet3/10 description MVRF IPTV Test Input ip vrf forwarding mcast ip address 172.16.254.1 255.255.255.252 ip access-group IPTV-IN in ip access-group BLOCK-TO-TV out ip pim bsr-border ip pim sparse-dense-mode load-interval 30 end All was ok with multicast. Today morning I've upgraded IOS on this router from 12.2(33)SRD4 advipservices to 12.2(33)SRE2 advipservices. When router backs online I found very high cpu utilization on it. After some investigations the problem of high cpu was found. It is a multicast stream towards multicast vrf via gi3/10. If I shutdown gi3/10 - cpu usage drops to usual 0-2%. Also, before ios upgrade, command 'sh ip mroute vrf mcast' showed routes for all multicast groups. And now only for small subset of them. Also 'sh ip access-list IPTV-IN' shows rapid counters increase. Extended IP access list IPTV-IN 10 permit udp any 233.169.2.0 0.0.0.255 (35705192 matches) 20 deny ip any any (10 matches) The same config on another set of routers with SRD4 works fine. Can someone please give me some hints to solve this problem?
