Hello: If you are being asked for a username and password that means the PIX has been configured previously with that information. A config-less PIX will just show a ciscopix> prompt and have no username and password. Setting up http access is dependent upon the operating system, so it will be hard to assist you before knowing whether or not it's in the 6.x or 7.x train. Mike -- Michael K.
