I've been mostly happy with Lantronix SLC gear.

They've had a recent supplier issue, which forced PCMCIA slots to turn into
USB, and upset the applecarts of people who depended on PCMCIA modems or
storage devices. Last I checked, not all of the old functionality had been
brought to USB.

The features I usually use are:
- SSH
- TACACS+
- Log console i/o to NFS
- per-port IP addressing (allows you to define DNS records along the lines of
'devicename-console')

The SLC has two NICs, but bonding/teaming combined with per-port IP addressing
is buggy.
