Best way is convert STM-4 to GE and just connect to NPE on-board GE port. You also will not need addtional PA POS cards. From my experience you will get best performance on NPE-G1/NPE-G2 if all traffic will pass GE ports on NPE instead of PA cards (like STM-1 POS). Eg. Raisecom RC702-GESTM4 Maybe something from RAD portfolio.
