Yes. MVPN encapsulates customer multicast in GRE-over-provider multicast, so you'll need PIM for that to flow.
(I'm guessing it would be as the client has tails terminating on multiple P/PE's?) Client is running sparse-mode on all there CE Ints - So assume we will need to?(Or are there any benefits in us running sparse-dense mode)?
I would generally recommend sparse-mode. But you can run e.g. PIM-SSM in the provider core. All that matters is that the PEs can send multicast to each other.
