Depends on what you mean by brocade. I bet you are looking at the foundry gear. The Foundry hardware is actually really nice. The real brocade switches based on fos I would throw in the trash can (at least based on the brocade 8k) from years ago.. I'd say that the foundry gear is on par with cisco and juniper. It configures much like ios. It really comes down to what you feel suits your company as you have to support it.
