Be sure to check the CER does MCT (Multi-Chassis Trunking, the Brocade Equivalent of VSS) if you look to purchase.

They certainly didn't use to but recent documentation suggests this is now supported.

As per original poster, they definately do the L2/L3 VPN MPLS features though, inc VRRP in VPLS (now supported in the newer software)

ME36/3800 might be an option for Cisco, although limited routes and now VSS type option from the top of my head.
