A quick overview: - LISP is layer-3, decoupling the Identity IP address from the Location in the network routing - OTV is a layer-2 over layer-3 tunneling protocol - FabricPath and TRILL are for layer-2 routing (replacing STP) Now in data centre deployment you might combine these protocols in the solution that you build.
