Adam, That’s correct RFC3107 is probably now 13+ years old. However it has provided the foundation for Unified MPLS resulting in RFC3107 support on access devices. This architecture also pushed the innovation of BGP PIC, Remote LFA, Prefix Independent Convergence and now Segment Routing.

Actually rfc3107 is really old and is usually used by folks who use Inter-AS MPLS Opt-C to keep/scale IGP per AS. Lately it was somehow re-invented (introduced to larger audience) by RAN folks to scale IGPs when MPLS is used all the way throughout the RAN. adam _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list cisco-nsp@puck.nether.net<mailto:cisco-nsp@puck.nether.net> https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/ _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list cisco-nsp@puck.nether.net https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/
