You can also use split horizon for E-Tree.

Hi Darwin,

This is where the mef-cecp would get handy as I'm not 100% sure what you mean
by e-tree.
But this is what you can do:

interface gi0/0
service instance 123 ethernet
   description Link to E-Tree root
   encap dot1q 10 ethernet
rewrite ingress tag pop 1 symmetric
   bridge-domain 123

l2 vfi E-Tree
vpn id 1
bridge-domain 123
neighbor x.x.x.x 100 encapsulation mpls
neighbor y.y.y.y 200 encapsulation mpls

You can also associate VLAN interface with this setup to have a L3 interface.

Hi Guys,
Anybody know how I can do a configuration rooted to multipoint (e-tree) on
L2 in the Cisco me3800 using iOS 15.3.
Thanks in advance.
