With XR 5.1.3, I applied most of the SMUs available today. After that I issued a format command for disk0: on the secondary RP, which then rebooted according to plan and started syncing from primary RP. I then started getting these messages on the secondary RP (with the SMUs, it was for the -sse- package):

... and this never fixes itself. I put the secondary RP in bootrom and deactivated all the SMUs on the primary RP, and then removed them. This still didn't fix the problem.

I'm pretty sure I could go on-site, format the disk0: in the secondary RP, and boot it, and the sync would work just fine. I have serial console on the secondary RP.

So my question now is, is there a boot variable I can set to make XR either format or completely "clean" disk0: on secondary RP after initial boot? I know this can be done with turbo-boot, but I haven't been able to find anything on how to do this if I don't want to turbo-boot.
