Cheers Octavio - I understand only 4 ports can be used simultaneously….but the
RJ45 ports would not work(Got links, but no layer2/3)…inserted SFPs in the
other 4ports, disconnected the RJ45 ports, and all works fine.

Another list member suggested it could be due to the "new" failover
features…i.e. the RJ45's you need to configure as the primary interfaces….Ill
need to look into this further…but as it stands atm, SFP's work in the 4 ports
without issue, changing to the RJ45's, we get links, but can't pass traffic.

It's 4 dual-port interfaces, not 8 interfaces. You can use the SFP *or*
RJ-45 port for that interface (you choose using "media-type" in
interface config mode) but it's only one interface.

Ports 0 and 1 (only on RJ-45) can additionally be set as PoE if certain
conditions are met.

So you can not use the two ports of the same interface simultaneously.

Best regards.
