For what it's worth we are happy with 15.1(2)SY4a on both Sup720-3B and Sup720-3C. They're not XL though and we don't have full tables on them, just 7.5k internal VPNv4 routes. Comparing two otherwise similar supervisors, one running 15.1(2)SY4a and the other running 12.2(33)SXJ3, I see a slightly higher memory usage on 15.1(2)SY4a: 12233SXJ3#show memory summary Head Total(b) Used(b) Free(b) Lowest(b) Largest(b) Processor 469CB0F0 895667984 139094100 756573884 754832860 756383500 I/O 8000000 67108864 22785252 44323612 42188384 44323420 1233SXH3#show ip bgp vpnv4 all summary | incl network entr 7505 network entries using 1028185 bytes of memory 1233 SXH3#show version | incl uptime 1233SXH3 uptime is 2 years, 48 weeks, ... 1512SY4a#show memory summary Head Total(b) Used(b) Free(b) Lowest(b) Largest(b) Processor 4732AF60 885837984 165501444 720336540 719032572 720246520 I/O 8000000 67108864 22129892 44978972 44642024 44978780 1512SY4a#show ip bgp vpnv4 all summary | incl network entr 7505 network entries using 1170780 bytes of memory 1512SY4a#show version | incl uptime 1512SY4a uptime is 1 year, 3 weeks, ... -- Peter _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list cisco-nsp@puck.nether.net https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/
