11900-12 is su1 and is based off es6. es 21 generally should install on top of this barring any bugs integrated in the SU that were not in the ES train.
At this point it is best to escalate the TAC case where you received the ES. -Wes ________________________________ From: cisco-voip [cisco-voip-boun...@puck.nether.net] on behalf of Eric Pedersen [peders...@bennettjones.com] Sent: Monday, March 03, 2014 3:13 PM To: Brian Meade Cc: cisco-voip@puck.nether.net Subject: Re: [cisco-voip] CUCM engineering special versions Hi Brian, I'm on 9.1.2.11900-12 and the ES I was given is 9.1.2.11021-2. You can't install a lower CUCM version but the ES may actually by a newer version than what you're currently on. CUCM wouldn't accept it because it was a lower version number, and I didn't see anything in the readme about this. I'm waiting to see what TAC has to say. We're already on 9.1.2 SU1. The version number for this is 9.1.2.11900-12 which is higher than the ES. I thought patches always meant going up in version numbers. Do SU versions work differently than ESs or is the engineer offering the wrong version? Thanks, Eric The contents of this message may contain confidential and/or privileged subject matter.
