APKs are android install files. You don’t need to do anything with those in general. Your employees just download jabber from the google play store.
As to COPs all jabber devices are natively in 9.1 and dial plan cops are only for 8.6 and earlier. This guide: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/jabber/10_6/CJAB_BK_C56DE1AB_00_cisco-jabber-106-deployment-and-installation-guide.html Tells you everything (probably, it’s been a while since I’ve had to use the guide) you need to know for programming jabber. Trying to get my head around the documentation and which COP files to install and when? I was hoping to see something like, if you have CUCM v9.1(2) install these files, but no documentation or readme lines it out like that. And to confuse things, when I go to the software list, it shows both COP files and APK files. Are the COP/APK file version numbers associated with the CUCM version, or are they strictly the Jabber version? Do I / can I just grab the latest COP file and install it? What's the APK file for? Wish they would make it easier, at least with a README file. :( --- Lelio Fulgenzi, B.A. Senior Analyst, Network Infrastructure Computing and Communications Services (CCS) University of Guelph 519‐824‐4120 Ext 56354 [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> www.uoguelph.ca/ccs<http://www.uoguelph.ca/ccs> Room 037, Animal Science and Nutrition Building Guelph, Ontario, N1G 2W1
