Think of expressway as a very smart video/audio/auth proxy firewall. It does not bridge. It enables external/internal calls to CUCM and other SIP or H.323 based infrastructure.
You can proxy remote phones through it – although there are some limitations. Unsure about the licensing under CUWL.
