Sounds like you're not getting name resolution. You need to specify a
Netbios name server (WINS) if you have one running. Add the following line
to the global configuration (watch the wrap):

async-bootp nbns-server x.x.x.x y.y.y.y

x.x.x.x is the WINS primary and y.y.y.y is the WINS secondary if present.
THis should allow your clients to resolve the name. If you dont have a WINS
server, you could also use internal DNS or hosts files, which wouldn't be
nearly as easy. You could also have them just put in an IP address for the
server, but I don't know if that will really fix anything.

Here's the line for using a DNS server (watch wrap):

async-bootp dns-server x.x.x.x y.y.y.y

Hope this helps!

Subject: AS5300 dial up

Hello,

I have users dial up to an AS5300 then to company
backbone. For some reason, users got timeout when they
tried to connect exchange server(using Outlook). Other
network program works fine. Users on LAN do not have
any problems. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Jim
