Dave,

Reverse telnet is when you telnet to a router and back out one of its AUX
ports. For instance, if your access server (router such as 2511) IP address
is 100.100.10.1, you would telnet 100.100.10.1 2001 to telnet to your access
server and access the first AUX port. If you wanted to access AUX port 5 you
would telnet 100.100.10.1 2005. You can search for examples at www.cisco.com
or there is an excellent sample, complete with instructions at
www.fatkid.com . They have free scenarios and will rent rack time in case
you don't have routers to try them out on.

Good Luck,
Tim
