Try not to forget that the people ( and companies) who really COUNT do
support the immigration of technical people. Microsoft, Sun, CISCO, ane
just a few examples. One reason is simply because these companies are
global entities.
Xenophobia usually hints at insecurity. Technology immigrants are coming
here to work very hard because it represents an opportunity of a lifetime.
These immigrants are not here to play. Acquiring MONEY and further KNOWLEDGE
are their principal aims. I should know; I am an immigrant.
I too would be zenophobic if I were born in the USA and saw fierce
competition on the horizon.
