Subject: static route to Null Interface and route redistribution

Follow up question on the using static routes to
null interfaces.

What if I had defined a number of static routes
one of which was a static route to the null interface,
eg:

        ip route 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0 e0
        ip route 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 e1
        ip route 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0 null0

What if I then configured the routing process (say OSPF)
to redistribute statics. Would OSPF redistribute the
subnet route information which is pointing to the null
interface or is that information considered local and
not to be advertised? Does EIGRP handle this the same
way?

Thanks
Brian

It doesn't matter whether you're using Link-State, Distance Vector, or
No
Dynamic routing protocol at all. Null interfaces come handy when don't
wanna
waste router CPU cycles with Access-List processing and it's
Administratively prohibited ICMP packets for security reasons.
