Is there an extended demarc? Perhaps it isn't extended correctly. Our installers
once extended a t-1, but they reversed the input and output pairs. They thought
everything was fine because it tested fine with a loopback plug inserted! :-) Their
techs never did figure it out and I had to go fix it.
Moral of the story: always check their work, because they don't always pay attention.
<< I have a 64k point to point ckt running from point A to Point B with Adtran
tsu on each end connected to the telco's dmarc with a straight through
cable. I have alarm lights on both tsu's. both are properly configured as
our other tsu's are. here is the puzzling part the telco says they can test
good to THEIR dmarc at both points A and B but cannot see our tsu's on
either side. I have tested both of the straight through cables that go from
the telco dmarc to the tsu and both are good.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
thanks,
JD
