The type of switching used on the Cisco 7000 series routers depends on
the router configuration and the version of Cisco IOS being used.
Different desktop protocols can use different types of switching. In
fact, the same protocol can use different switching methods on the
differnet router interfaces. The type of switching being used for
different protocols on various router interfaces is controlled by the
router configuration on the destination interface.

My question is: Why is configured on the destination interface instead
of source interface?
